Unlike Anh Trai Vuot Ngan Chong Gai 2024, the new season presents the Anh Tai with a series of brand-new challenges before they can even reach the show's reunion room.

The teams begin their journey together at the Fire Corridor, where they must verify their identities. At this stage, each artist is required to showcase a unique talent in order to pass the verification process and gain access to the Fire Chamber.

The team of "master strategists," featuring Dai Nghia, Huynh Lap, and Mew Amazing, had to perform an impromptu comedy skit on the spot, while the team made up of former boy group members, including Will, K.O, Toki, and Ho Dong Quan had to complete the challenge by dancing together.

Notably, the returning Anh Tai from the 2024 season—Thanh Duy, Jun Pham, Neko Le, BB Tran, and Duy Khanh—had to reenact their signature moments from Season 1 in order to successfully verify their identities.

After entering the Fire Chamber, the Anh Tai were tasked with deciphering the identities of the other teams while deciding which team they wanted to challenge and which they preferred to avoid. The room quickly became a stage for strategic thinking, as the artists carefully weighed their options before selecting their opponents.

Formidable Teams Emerge in the Opening Round

In the first Reunion Performance Round of Anh Trai Vuot Ngan Chong Gai 2026, the 10 Anh Tai teams were divided into five head-to-head matchups instead of performing only solo stages as in the previous season.

With the elimination format still unknown at that point, every team approached their decisions cautiously, carefully considering which opponents to face and which to steer clear of.

According to the other contestants, the team holds a distinct advantage in music production, songwriting, and performance.

As a result, Anh Tai Tinh was regarded as one of the strongest teams in the competition, with no other team choosing to challenge them.

Meanwhile, the five returning Anh Tai from Season 1 were also considered formidable opponents thanks to their experience and stage savvy.

In contrast to Anh Tai Tinh, however, they became the team that received the most challenge invitations, reflecting the 2026 contestants' determination to embrace obstacles and take on the toughest competitors.

The Reunion Performance Round Treats Audiences to 17 Spectacular Performances

In the premiere episode, the first two matchups—Anh Tai Lam Chieu vs. Tinh Dau Ruc Chay and Quai Kiet Mong Mo vs. Nhung Ke Lang Du—presented a total of 17 performances, including 13 solo stages and 4 group performances, centered around the theme Ngay Nay Ngay Nay.

Known for their distinctive artistic styles, Dai Nghia, Huynh Lap, and Mew Amazing skillfully incorporated signature elements from their careers into the performance, including references to the Ai Chet Gio Tay series, Ngay Xua Ngay Xua, and the use of violin, brass, and drums.

Facing Anh Tai Lam Chieu was Tinh Dau Ruc Chay, a team whose four members all have experience performing in boy groups. Holding their own against their senior counterparts, Will, Toki Thanh Tho, K.O, and Ho Dong Quan delivered equally impressive performances featuring DJing, guitar playing, and energetic choreography.

After nine vibrant performances, Anh Tai Lam Chieu emerged victorious over Tinh Dau Ruc Chay.

The second matchup opened with Quai Kiet Mong Mo, featuring Trinh Thang Binh, Tho (DaLAB), and Ha An Huy, who delivered three solo ballad performances infused with rock influences, creating a more intimate, emotional, and reflective musical atmosphere for the audience.

Taking on the trio of heartfelt vocalists was an equally distinctive team consisting of Dung DT, Dinh Manh Ninh, and Tho's DaLAB bandmate, Thom.

Bringing their signature Hanoi-inspired style and charm to the stage, the three artists delivered a lively and colorful group performance of Vao Ha, creating a complete contrast to the emotional tone of Quai Kiet Mong Mo.
