Swan Nguyen resolutely refuses vocal strength, showing spirit of breaking out of the comfort zone

During the meeting to divide teams for the 2 Vocal and Performance sections, despite being trustingly nominated by All-Round Producer SOOBIN for the Vocal performance "Khoc cung em" along with Phuc Nguyen and Duc Duy because they have the highest vocal ranges and could handle this song, Swan Nguyen proactively asked to switch to the Performance number "Guong vo lam lanh" which carries a Vietnamese folk influence, with the desire to break himself out of the comfort zone and try a completely new musical color.

Swan Nguyen explained: “Because I really want to sing 1 song with Vietnamese folk influence… I want to break through more, to prove to everyone that I am trying very hard at dancing.” This spirit shows the desire not to be stereotyped in one role but to develop comprehensively, even though it might face many difficulties in the training process.

At the same time, Ho Dong Quan also expressed his desire to step out of his comfort zone, wanting to try ballad: “Until now, I still haven't sung ballad once”. However, All-Round Producer SOOBIN also reminded that this is the official competition lineup with a completely live vocal performance, so safety must be prioritized, frankly expressing concern because this song is a bit beyond Ho Dong Quan's beautiful vocal range. Thinking of the frozen members and the impact on the Performance lineup, with the risk that 2 "performance aces" (con tướng perform) Wonbi and minhtin could not perform if not successfully unfrozen, Ho Dong Quan agreed, and Swan Nguyen's position was swapped with Long Hoang.

It will be a double-edged sword for us." In the end, All-Round Producer SOOBIN came to the final decision, showing the responsibility of a leader: "SOOBIN's real desire is 115%... SOOBIN's feeling about this performance has never been this strong. But if just 1 performance loses, the group will have someone frozen again or eliminated.
