"Quan Nha Haha" officially kicks off a fresh journey for cast members Jun Pham, Rhymastic, Bui Cong Nam, Ngoc Thanh Tam, and Duy Khanh as they take on the challenge of running a family-owned eatery in Hue.
Beyond delivering lighthearted comedic moments during customer service, the show highlights the culinary culture and rustic daily life of the Ancient Capital's locals.
Opening Day: Hectic pace and resounding laughter
In Hue, the cast stepped into roles as staff members at the home-style eatery run by Aunt Be and Uncle Phuoc.
The YouTube broadcast stretched past four hours, extending its premiere run into the following day. Despite the considerable runtime, the episode held viewers' attention through its warm, intimate ambiance, playful situational comedy, and an irresistible spread of Hue delicacies.
Scenes of wispy kitchen smoke, vibrant regional dishes, and shared family meals left many viewers craving a bite. One commenter noted: "Truly delightful and endearing to watch, definitely triggers midnight hunger pangs."
On their first day, the team received a heartfelt welcome from Aunt Be and Uncle Phuoc, who treated them to a breakfast of banh canh Nam Pho, a signature Hue specialty. Soon after, the cast mobilized quickly into prep work to ensure everything was ready for the doors to open.
Jun Pham took the reins as head chef, coordinating with Aunt Be on core menu items including jackfruit soup with piper lolot leaves, stir-fried fig with crispy rice paper, and claypot braised goby fish. Guided step-by-step by Aunt Be, he adapted swiftly to the kitchen's pace, showcasing refined culinary skill.

Meanwhile, Duy Khanh was assigned front-of-house and table-service duties. He found himself tangled in a string of bittersweet comedic dilemmas due to his struggle to memorize the menu, leading to the hilarious scene where he lugged the giant menu board straight to the guests' tables to pitch each dish.
Duy Khanh's bumbling waiter routine served as a clever device for "Quan Nha Haha" to liven up the room, sparking witty exchanges that put diners at ease and kept viewers thoroughly entertained. Bui Cong Nam played the part of the mild-mannered server whose fondness for chitchat ran so deep that arriving guests were left waiting a fair bit.
At another station, Ngoc Thanh Tam settled back into her familiar dishwashing post from the previous season. Meticulous and diligent, she ensured the dish area remained neat and spotless throughout service. Rhymastic maintained his signature low-key, action-first demeanor, quietly surveying the room and stepping in to back up whichever station needed extra hands.

A joyous family dinner, followed by the arrival of Minh Hang and Quoc Thien
After a demanding service day, the cast gathered around the dinner table with Aunt Be and Uncle Phuoc over a fragrant spread of banh uot thit nuong (steamed rice rolls with grilled pork).
The dinner also welcomed Xuan An, Uncle Phuoc's son, who had just returned home from work.
The evening grew livelier as the table engaged in discussions about regional linguistic quirks and dialectal nuances. The host family enthusiastically broke down rustic local phrases, such as "doi" meaning to toss or throw, and "xuoc ki cuoi" describing the act of sweeping the courtyard.
