Tan Binh Toan Nang: Wonbi becomes the leader for the Second Performance. What are the audiences saying?

Episode 2 of Tan Binh Toan Nang concluded with the emotional victory for the Promoted Rookie team at the First Performance against the group 8TURN (South Korea), motivating the Rookies to continue striving in tougher "battles" ahead. Faced with increasingly greater challenges, All-Round Producer SOOBIN realized a leader was needed to help him connect with and raise morale among the members. Therefore, the production team organized a secret ballot for the leader position in the Promoted Rookie team for the Second Performance. This vote involved all 11 Rookies and the production team.

SOOBIN also further explained the goal of this decision: "Starting from the Second Performance, SOOBIN thinks we should find a few candidates who have the potential to become the official leader in the future. SOOBIN wants to see the names that receive great trust from the other members."

With credibility from everyone, Rookie Wonbi (Minh Quân) officially became the leader of the Promoted Rookie team for the Second Performance. He opened up about this important role: "In my heart, I also wanted to take on the leader role this time. I think my role this time is quite important. Within the group, I am someone who can resolve conflicts among the guys because I think I have a pretty humble ego."

Wonbi's becoming the leader might be a surprise for many viewers new to the show. However, this is a reasonable and fair choice for those who have followed the Rookie lineup since Project 100%. Wonbi has held the responsibility of a leader many times, mediating conflicts and correcting choreography for the whole group, which has always been considered his prominent strength.

Therefore, Wonbi's calm demeanor helps reduce unnecessary conflicts, ensuring practice proceeds according to plan. His composed nature and strong discipline make everyone feel confident nominating him for the leadership role, especially as the Rookies are about to enter the Second Performance with a higher level of pressure.

Before coming to Tan Binh Toan Nang, the Gen Z handsome guy was already a familiar name in the dancer community. He possesses an impressive record with over 100 medals from domestic and international competitions: Champion of Nhay Di Ngai Chi 2022, Runner-up of Buoc Nhay Hoan Vu Nhi 2014, and Best Dance at the Asia Top Awards 2023.

Besides that, Wonbi has also choreographed for many major programs, such as Chi Dep Dap Gio Re Song and Anh Trai Vuot Ngan Chong Gai, and is a key member of Vu Doan Buoc Nhay—the "birth place" to many of Vietnam's top performing artists.
