Following the resounding success in the previous episode, the audience held great expectations for the "Promoted Rookie Team (Tan Binh Thang Cap)" in round 2.
However, episode 4 of "Tan Binh Toan Nang" delivered an unexpected result, leaving viewers with complex emotions as the misjudged strategy by SOOBIN and the entire "Promoted Rookie Team (Tan Binh Thang Cap)" led to defeat, resulting in 3 rookies being frozen. Assessing the team’s morale, All-round Producer SOOBIN decided to implement the "Report Book" (So dau bai) system, strictly evaluating each rookie’s training attitude and discipline.
Tactical choice: Facing K-Pop Seniors or Competing with the Japanese Phenomenon?
In Round 2 of the 2nd performance, the international representatives elevated the "Tan Binh Toan Nang" stage to new heights with a serious competitive spirit.

KID PHENOMENON kicked off explosively with their track “Party over there,” showcasing the full energy and unique hip-hop style of the J-Pop music market.

JUSTB created a “double-hit” by performing a mashup of “Damage” and “Get Away,” asserting the professional dance skills and world-class caliber of experienced K-Pop idols.
2nd performance Round 2 Rule: All-Round Producer SOOBIN will secretly select 1 of the 2 international groups to compare scores with, based on the results of Round 1. After both international groups and the Rookie group have performed, the Rookie group’s score will be compared with the international group that All-Round Producer SOOBIN previously selected to determine the result of success or failure in conquering the challenge level.
After watching the performances of both international groups and considering the current state of the "Promoted Rookie Team (Tan Binh Thang Cap)", All-Round Producer SOOBIN decided to compete against KID PHENOMENON to prioritize absolute safety for the Rookies. The young trainees agreed with this decision as their musical styles were similar, promising a clearer, fairer competition. At the same time, All-Round Producer SOOBIN also maintained the challenge threshold at 90% and confirmed the milestone score for the Rookie group would be based on the voting score of the Japanese opponent. "We know exactly where our current abilities and limits lie, and we prioritize the safety of every member in the team," - All-Round Producer SOOBIN frankly expressed his view.

2nd performance Challenge Levels and Privileges:
- Achieve 90% or more of the international group's score: -3% challenge level for the next round
- Achieve 100% or more of the international group's score: Unlock 1 debut position.
- Achieve 115% or more of the international group's score: Unlock 2 debut positions.
- Each challenge level can only be chosen once per round; if surpassed, the corresponding privilege is granted. If the challenge level is not achieved in Round 1, each Rookie loses 100 individual points. If the challenge level is not achieved in Round 2, the challenge level for Performance 3 is increased by +3%. At the end of the 2 rounds, the live audience votes for their 3 favorite Rookies; the number of audience votes for each Rookie becomes their individual score.
With no more unexpected technical issues like the previous round, the "Promoted Rookie Team (Tan Binh Thang Cap)" confidently performed the song "Take a shot" with a baseball concept, demonstrating the highest level of teamwork and fighting spirit. Although the first-time experience of performing with difficult props went smoothly, the "Take a shot" performance this time did not create the expected explosive impact.
All-Round Producer SOOBIN gave a strict assessment of the "Promoted Rookie Team (Tan Binh Thang Cap)": "I was not very satisfied with the second song. Specifically, SOOBIN felt that the guys seemed too focused on the first song, so the fluency and synchronization shown in this second round weren’t up to my expectations.”
The final result was announced: "Party over there" from KID PHENOMENON received 700 voting points. The song "Take a shot" from the "Promoted Rookie Team (Tan Binh Thang Cap)" received 627 points (equivalent to 89.6% of the challenge level). Regrettably, the Rookies did not surpass the chosen challenge level of 90% of KID PHENOMENON's score.

Prior to the 2nd performance, the Rookies had undergone the most stressful days of high-intensity practice, from 8 AM to midnight. Duy Lan expressed the whole group's serious investment: "Honestly, for this Performance 2, we had to practice more intensely than in all the processes we’ve gone through... We are grinding at 200% of our strength, giving everything we have." This failure left the Rookies full of regret; minhtin shared the sorrowful feelings: "The feeling of being so close, but still not being able to reach it. Just missed it by a tiny bit.", Cuong Bach added: "It means we are still lacking something, a certain level of completion for the song "Take a shot". Even though "Take a shot" was a song I felt quite confident would bring victory because the betting number was only 90%. But it is a great pity."
Failed strategy, 3 Rookies frozen - All-Round Producer SOOBIN takes responsibility for the wrong decision
All-Round Producer SOOBIN, who set the challenge tactic, candidly took responsibility for the decision to face the "J-pop Phenomenon" KID PHENOMENON. However, he sees this defeat as great motivation for the team to learn from, emphasizing that this is a valuable opportunity to re-evaluate their actual skills: “We lost, but only by 3 points to a very strong international representative. And I want the Rookies all to fall into difficult challenges, truly. It has to be thresholds like this, so that all the potential and elements within each of you can be clearly unlocked."
All-Round Producer SOOBIN also apologized to the Rookies for choosing KID PHENOMENON as the benchmark, stating that if he had chosen JUSTB, the result would have been different. However, Cường Bạch and other Rookies admitted that choosing KID PHENOMENON as the Round 2 opponent was a collective decision, not SOOBIN's alone.
This failure means that the 3 members with the lowest individual scores will be frozen. From the 1st performance, the members at risk were Ho Dong Quan in 9th place, Duy Lan in 10th place, and Thai Le Minh Hieu in 11th place. However, the moment the results were revealed brought many surprises because not only Thai Le Minh Hieu but also minhtin and, most unexpectedly, leader Wonbi were the 3 people with the lowest individual scores after the 2nd performance, receiving the frozen disadvantage for the 3rd performance.
Individual score chart of the Rookies after the 2nd performance:

The outcome sparked mixed reactions and emotions among the three frozen members.
Wonbi expressed his shock, especially having taken on the leader position: “At that moment, I was numb. I don't know if there has ever been a case where a leader was frozen before. I thought there had never been such a case. And I am that case, so I didn't know what to say at that time besides being surprised at myself.”
